ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers wrestling team were defeated by the University of Central Oklahoma Bronchos by a final of 47-3 in Edmond, Okla. on Wednesday night. The injury-laden Tigers battled bravely despite being down two men. Ouachita's points came via

The Tigers were down 18-0 after losing the opening match by forfeit and then suffering back-to-back falls. Clevenger got the Tigers on the scoreboard with a 12-5 decision win over Will Steltzen. This was the second meeting this season between the two 149 pounders. Steltzen took the first meeting at the Oklahoma City Open by an 11-4 decision. 157-pounder Connor Loderhose battled Bryan Dutton to a close 3-1 decision loss. The dual ended with another loss by forfeit for Ouachita followed by a fall and two technical falls.
The Tigers will compete next at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis, Ind. on Dec. 18 and 19.
