ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Ouachita scored three runs on two home runs over two days in a game that began on Friday and ended on Saturday due to rain delays.The Tigers fell to Southern Arkansas 11-3 to start their weekend series.

Kate Lacina crushed a solo shot over the wall in left center to pull the Tigers within one. The game was stopped due to rain and lightening in the middle of the third with SAU leading 3-1. After two delays that lasted over two hours, the game was postponed and scheduled to resume the following morning.Â
The game resumed in the bottom of the third at 11:00 a.m on Saturday with Ouachita trailing by two runs.

Sarah Johnson led the inning off by reaching first on a hit-by-pitch.
Macy Nantz hit the very next pitch over the scoreboard in right field to drive in the Tigers final two runs of the game.Â
The Tigers would fall 11-3 in a game that spanned 11 hours.Â
