ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Ouachita Tigers men's soccer team suffered their first loss of the season Thursday night, falling 1-0 to Rogers State University. The goal was the first scored against the Tigers in five games, ending a scoreless streak that began in last season's GAC Championships. Ouachita's 2016 record now stands at 3-1.

Nelson Pacheco had notched six saves heading into the 74th minute when Rogers State forward Jake Simpson slipped one past him at the near post. It was the first goal allowed by Pacheco in 498 minutes. Pacheco finished the game with nine saves. The Tigers offense managed to get off 10 shots in the game, led by
Tinashe Chigede's three shots.Â
The Tigers next opponent will be Upper Iowa University, They will face off in St. Charles, Missouri on Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m.
