ARKADELPHIA, Ark - The Ouachita Lady Tigers' basketball team defeated Williams Baptist in non-conference action Saturday afternoon by a final score of 70-56.
The Lady Tigers only led by two points at halftime but outscored Williams by 11 in the third quarter, vaulting them to a dominating 13-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Lady Tigers led by as much as 26 in the fourth, but some late Williams Baptist points drew Ouachita's final margin of victory to 14.
The Tigers were led in scoring by Madison Brittain. Brittain scored 16 points, including 12 from behind the three-point line. Senior guard Taylor Bowles scored 13 points off the bench, while senior forward Kori Bullard scored six points and added nine rebounds.
The Tigers will play again next Friday at home against Rogers State.
