ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tigers' softball team (10-14, 4-8 GAC) lost both games of doubleheader against Harding University (21-3, 11-1 GAC). The Tigers lost the first game by a score of 7-0 and the second by a final score of 11-0.
Harding's pitcher, Autumn Humes, pitched a perfect game in the second game, and the game ended due to run rule in the fifth inning.
Kelly Powell and
Sarah Johnson both had two hits in the first game.
Kelsey O'Brien and
Marissa Butler were the starting pitchers in games one and two.
The Tigers will have a home series against East Central next weekend. The series will begin on Friday, Mar. 17 with a doubleheader. Games will begin at 2 and 4 p.m.
