SEARCY, Ark. – The Ouachita Baptist volleyball team (9-6, 2-2 GAC) dropped its second conference match of the season Tuesday night. The Tigers lost in three sets at Harding (14-2, 3-1 GAC), 25-22, 25-20, 25-23.
Ouachita was held to 39 kills and a .135 hitting percentage while the Bisons tallied 46 kills with a .227 hitting percentage. The Tigers are averaging 46.6 kills per match with a .207 hitting percentage this season.
Paige Williams led the Tigers in kills with 12 while
Kori Bullard closed out with nine kills and four blocks.
Adrianna Nolly,
Stormi Leonard and
Nikki Clay all led the team in blocks (5), assists (34) and digs (17), respectively.
Ouachita will return home on Thursday, Sept. 28 as it hosts Henderson State in the first of two volleyball Battle of the Ravines. The match is set to start at 6:30 p.m. inside the Sturgis Physical Education Center.
