Ouachita took the late momentum from the third quarter and carried it over into the opening moments of the fourth quarter. With 7:18 to play in the game, the Lady Tigers had opened up a nine-point lead on the Cotton Blossoms.

The Lady Tigers looked to be costing to an easy victory but the Cotton Blossoms fought back to stay in the game. Whitney O'Dell knockdown a three-pointer with 5:23 to go in the game to give Arkansas-Monticello their first lead of the half.

It was a back-and-forth contest the rest of the way, Kori Bullard (Hot Spring, Ark.) connected on a three-point attempt to give the Lady Tigers a four-point lead with 37 seconds left in the game.

The Lady Tigers defense came to play as they limited the Cotton Blossoms to just 37 percent shooting for the game.
