The undefeated Tigers of Ouachita Baptist University had their nine-game winning-streak snapped by the Hilltoppers of St. Edwards University in three sets. Ouachita is now 9-1 where as St. Edwards improves to 7-2 on the season.
 
The first set found Ouachita down by 6 early on before the Tigers pulled back within two. St. Edwards broke out another big run and the Tigers attempted to claw their way back but it was too late as a late kill secure the victory for the Hilltoppers 25-21.
 
Set two saw the Tigers with as much as a three-point lead at 11-8 before the Hilltoppers responded with an 11-3 run of their own. St. Edwards proceeded to close out the match 25-18 with a 6-2 run.
 
It was all the Hilltoppers for the third and final set as the Tigers hit their lowest percentage of the night at -.059. With Ouachita trailing by one, the Hilltoppers blasted a 15-2 run and left no doubt to end the match 25-13.
 
Despite a difficult loss for the Tigers, Stormi Leonard received her fourth double-double of the season with 23 assists and 11 digs. Julianna Mack also landed double digits in digs with 13.
 
The Tigers will look to respond tomorrow in their match against Northwest Missouri State University (5-3) at 2:00 p.m. and Newman University (1-5) at 6:00 p.m.
