ARKADELPHIA, ARK. – The day after a signature win, Ouachita uses meet with UALR to prepare for NSISC as they fall 129-63.
Sydney Parker and
Lilia Clark shine in the last regular season meet of the year both getting victories.
The day started with
Sydney Parker racing in the 1000 yard freestyle for the first time this season. She captured second place and put in a top 20 time for the conference with a 11:13:03.
Lilia Clark immediately followed her as she won the 200 yard free style by five seconds with a 2:00:99 time. Christiana Beger added a fourth place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26:83.
In
Sydney Parker's second race she battled hard and it came down to the wire, but she wo the 100 yard butterfly by seven tenths of a second.
Lilia Clark came out in the next race and captured the win in the 100 yard freestyle. In her final race as a Tiger,
Susannah Frith put in a second place finish in the 500 yard freestyle.
The Tigers will now get to gear up for the NSISC Championship which take place at the end of February. Ouachtia will use the three weeks to rest and recuperate after back to back weekends of swimming.
