ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Tigers fight the whole way against Fort Hays State University but succumb a late goal to the home team dropping the match 1-0.
Ouachita played hard the entire match keeping the game tied at zero until late in the second half. The goal that the Tigers gave up was on a penalty kick at the 85 minute mark.
The Tigers put in 6 shots on the day, four of which were on goal. The Tigers were led by freshman
David Stankovic who put in two shots as one was on goal.
In goal for the Tigers was
Matt Day who played the whole 90 minutes of the match. He faced 18 shots from FHSU with 4 of those shots being on goal. He saved three of the four shots he faced allowing only the penalty kick to pass him.
