Hot Springs, Ark. – Tigers Women's Soccer continue their grate play in the Great American Conference tying Southwestern Oklahoma State 1-1 at Lakeside High School in Hot Springs, Ark.
The Tigers held the game scoreless for the first 27 minutes of the game. However, a the 27:10 the Bulldogs broke the tie on a goal by SWOSU's Brianna Benitez.
As Ouachita has shown this season, they never quit as in the second period with 82:07 on the clock
Gracen Turner received a free kick rocketing it in by the back post.
Ashlyn Heckman received the assist after sending in the pass off of the free kick.
Heckman was busy on the night putting in 9 shots, five of which were on goal, leading the Tigers to 15 shots. Turner had three shots herself as
Meagan North,
Josilyn Kispert and
Madison Humbard all took a shot.
Erin Webster resided in goal for the Tigers during the double overtime match. She accumulated all 110 minutes in the late night matchup. She saw 23 shots from the visiting Bulldogs. Nine of those shots were on target as Webster rejected eight of them.
