ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Tigers win their second straight conference match defeating Southern Nazarene by a score of 1-0.
Josilyn Kispert scored the lone goal for Ouachita off of an assist by
Gracen Turner at the 17 minute mark of the first half.
The Tigers fended off the Crimson Storm the rest of the match as Southern Nazarene fired off 13 shots in the game, four of which were on goal. Ouachita put in seven shots on the day with four being on goal.
Kispert led the Tigers in shots with both of her two shots being on goal.
Meagan North also added two shots while
Ashlyn Heckman,
Madison Humbard and Alyssa Hardin accounted for the other three Tiger contests.
Erin Webster started the game in goal for Ouachita playing the first 45 minutes with two saves.
Michele Snow finished the game for the Tigers accounting also for two saves.
Ouachita is back in action on Thursday at 4:00 p.m as they travel to Alva, Okla. to face off against Northwestern Oklahoma State.
