Junior forward Eden Crow led the way for the Tigers scoring 16 points, grabbing six rebounds, and adding one assist in her 29 minutes on the floor. Crow also shot an impressive 66.7% from the floor.

Forward Jakyya Clay also had a strong presence during the game for the Tigers. Clay put up 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Ouachita started off strong in the first quarter with a 6-0 run off of two layups from Madison Brittain and Eden Crow, and two made free throws from Jakyya Clay. UAM would try and climb back as the first quarter continued, but Ouachita's offense kept scoring. With 1:47 left in the first quarter Ouachita would take an 18-7 lead after a layup from Jakyya Clay. UAM's offense would close the quarter out with a three point basket and 2 made free throws from Kayla Bradley. Ouachita would hold on for an 18-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.

A layup from Eden Crow and a three point basket from Madison Brittain would get the offense going to begin the second quarter of play, giving the Tigers a 23-12 lead. UAM begin to close in on Ouachita's lead after a couple of layups and then a pair of three point baskets from Dezirae King, bringing the game to a 25-24 Ouachita lead. Maija Gerstone would close out the first half with two made free throws giving Ouachita a 27-24 lead going into halftime.

Madison Brittain would open up the third quarter for Ouachita with a made free throw and a layup to give Ouachita a 30-29 lead. UAM would take the lead following Mackenzie Tillman's three pointer. Ouachita took a 35-32 lead with a layup from Jakyya Clay and a three point basket from Jessi Bennett. Ouachita would finish the third quarter with a 48-41 lead thanks to some strong offense from Jakyya Clay and Eden Crow.

UAM would start the final quarter of play strong quickly tying the game at 48. The lead continued to go back and forth between UAM and Ouachita. Leading the way for Ouachita in the fourth quarter was Eden Crow, Jakyya Clay, and Maija Gerstone. A jump shot from Mackenzie Tillman would give UAM the lead over Ouachita and a 63-60 win.
