Arkadelphia Ark. – The Lady Tigers erupt offensively against the Rogers State University Hillcats as they run away with an 86-64 victory.

The Lady Tigers shot 62 percent from the field as four players put up 17 or more points. Eden Crow and Madison Raney both put up double- doubles. Crow put up 19 points with 10 rebounds, while Raney scored 18 with 14 rebounds. Maija Gertstone led the way with 20 points and six assists. Jakyya Clay came off the bench to shoot 89 percent from the field putting up 17 points.

Samariah Thompson for Rogers State led all scorers with 23 points on 8-9 shooting from the field.

Ouachita came out hot in the first quarter as their first lead came on a Jakyya Clay layup to go up 6-4 with 6:48 left in the opening period. The Lady Tigers never looked back as they took off to take a ten-point lead into the second quarter.

Ouachita began the second period on a 7-0 run. Stellar paint play from Ouachita gave the Lady Tigers a 47-31 lead heading into halftime.

Rogers State adjusted in the third quarter as they began to press the Lady Tigers. The Hillcats got within ten with 2:25 to play in the third, but that was the closest they got as Ouachita shut the door in the fourth.

The Lady Tigers continued their domination of the Hillcats and ran away with it in the final period. With 86 points, Ouachita erupted for their largest offensive output of the season to improve to 3-7.
