Box Score 2 ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Women's Tennis uses the first half of March to continue to improve on their season.
The Tigers in the first half of the month have gone 1-2 with a win over William Jewel, a loss to Harding and a heartbreaking loss to Christian Brothers.
On March 1 the Tigers started the match against William Jewel in a dominant fashion winning the doubles matchups two to one.
Haylee Cannon and
Taylor Hansard won their matchup 6-1 while
Lindsay Gills and
Claire Phillips would win their game 6-2. In the singles matches the Tigers continued to battle hard as the contest would be highlighted by
Mallory Tabler and
Haylee Cannon winning decisive third sets. The Tigers would win the game 6-1 over William Jewell.
In the Harding matchup the duo of
Mallory Tabler and
Kendra Dinsmore would win their doubles match with a 6-3 win over Harding's number one duo. The Tigers, however, would fall to the Bisons 0-7. In the matchup with Christian Brothers the Tigers would drop the doubles point but would win three out of six singles matchups.
Mallory Tabler highlighted the singles match with a 6-0,0-6, 6-2 third set thriller.
