13 Hits Propels Tiger Baseball to Series Win

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Ouachita Tigers Baseball clinch series win against Southeastern Oklahoma State with a score of 8-4.
 
Bo Sutton picked up his third win of the season as he would go four innings only allowing two runs. Sutton would also hit in the five hole for the Tigers as he would go 4-5 with three runs batted in. Louis Steen also had a big day going 4-5 also with two runs batted in and scored four runs himself.
 
The Tigers would start out hot as Bo Sutton would strike out the first three batters. Then in the bottom half of the inning Louis Steen would blast a two out solo homerun over the left field fence. Bo Sutton would continue to help his case as he would strike out two more in the top of the second before leading off the bottom half with hitting a solo shot of his own.
 
The Tigers would allow the Savage Storm to tie the game at two on a triple in the top of the third. Chris Willard would score in the bottom of the fourth on a passed ball to give the Tigers the lead back. Luke Scaggs would come in and replace Bo Sutton on the mound for the Tigers. He would go five innings only allowing two runs on three hits.
 
After a Tyler Riebock single to start the bottom of the fifth, Louis Steen would single him home. Then Steen would steal second and would be singled home by Bo Sutton. The Tigers would take the 5-2 lead going into the sixth. The Tigers would put two more runs across the board in the bottom of the sixth as Cade McBride would single home Logan Huneycutt and Bo Sutton would single home Louis Steen.
 
The Tigers would put one more run on the board as Hunter Gautreaux would strikeout the catcher would lose the ball in the dirt allowing for Louis Steen to score from third.
 
The Tigers return to action on Wednesday, April 3 as they face off with Delta State at Rab Rodgers Field.
