ARKADELPHIA, Ark – Ouachita Tigers Men's Soccer goes wire to wire but suffers defeat to Delta State University 1-0, in a second overtime battle.
The Tigers played hard on the defensive end continuously making it challenging for the Statesmen of Delta State.
Kobe Coleman was all over the field defensively blocking multiple shots throughout the game.
Ouachita tallied six shots on the afternoon, none of which were on goal.
Matt Heffernan led the team with four shots as
Ryan Shaughnessy and
Nery Flores both added one each.
Kyle Kelson started the game for the Tigers in goal, but
Matt Day played the second half and both overtime periods. Day had a busy day saving three shots on goal from the Statesmen.
