ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Tigers Women's Soccer team fought hard in their season opener but fell in the end to Northeastern State 2-1.
Ouachita was led by
Ashlyn Heckman continuing where she left off last season with a goal on three shots. The Tiger mid-fielder's goal came in the 31
st minute of the game. Freshman
Gracen Turner added the assist on the Heckman goal.
The Tigers put in seven shots as a team, three on goal. Heckman led the team with three shots, but freshman
Josilyn Kispert also added in two. Returning Tigers
Kylie Sharp and
Jaymee Dotson each had a shot in the game.
