ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – This weekend the Tiger's Men's Tennis team recorded tow wins. On Friday the Tigers defeated Mississippi College by score of 6-1 and on Saturday defeated Texarkana-Texas A & M with a score of 7-0.
 
On Friday the doubles  duo of Juan Moncada and Francisco Oliveira would start off the winning ways for the Tigers as they defeated their foes 7-5. Next up for Ouachita was Dan Kaplun and Tobias Fuerschuss who took down their opponents 6-3. The Tigers cliched tihe doubles point and headed into the singles with a 1-0 lead.
 
In singles play senior's Dan Kaplun, uan Moncada, Nair Adi  along with sophomores Santiago Kearney , and Tobias Fuerschuss  claimed singles victories. Final score Tigers 6 and Mississippi College 1. 

The match against Texarkana was very similar with the Tigers taking victories at #2 and #3 doubles for the first point and then sweeping the singles for a 7-0 victory.

OBU Coach Craig Ward said, "With our indoor facility we are able to play a lot of matches against very good teams early in the season. As a result we have a high level of expectation when we compete. We know every match we play is going to require a lot of work, positive energy, and focus. I thought this weekend we did a god job on those things."
The Tigers return to action Saturday, March 7 against Jacksonville College at 12 Noona at Texarkana Community College.
