ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Ouachita Tigers (4-5 GAC, 8-9 Overall) took game one 10-7 against the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm (1-8 GAC, 6-12 Overall), but dropped game three 1-7.

Ouachita Pitching
 
Beau Burson (2-1) made the start for the Tigers and earned the win after six innings of work. He allowed three runs on five hits, a walk, and seven strikeouts. 
Carter Wade (2-2) was first in relief for Ouachita. He threw two-thirds of an inning with four runs, two hits, a walk, and two strikeouts. 
Cooper Timmons (1-0) was perfect for his 2.1 innings to close out the game.
 
Ouachita Hitting
 
Cade McBride got the Tigers going offensively with a solo home run over the left field fence in the bottom of the second inning.
 
Two innings later, 
Cole Kelly reached by error and scored McBride. A batter later, 
Cade Burris hit a two-run single to center field that scored 
Louis Steen and Kelly. 
Blake Tubbs finished the scoring in the fourth inning on a single that scored Burris.
 
The Tigers added another run in the fifth inning on a Burris fielder's-choice ground ball that scored McBride to make it a 6-3 game.
 
In the sixth inning, 
Logan Huneycutt doubled off the left field wall to score 
Tyler Riebock. Another run was added after 
CW Schrader put down a squeeze bunt to score Huneycutt.
 
In the eighth inning, the Tigers would add two more insurance runs to make it a 10-7 lead. McBride singled to right field to score Tubbs and Riebock.

	- The Tigers put up double-digit runs and hits for the third straight game.
 
	- Cade McBride went 2 for 3 with a home run, three runs scored, three RBI's, and two walks.

Ben Miller (3-3) received the loss after allowing two runs on six hits and a strikeout. 
Hunter Gautreaux (0-0) was first in relief for the Tigers. He gave up two runs on five hits, two walks, and three strikeouts. 
Noah Fowler (1-0) was next out of the bullpen and pitched two-thirds of an inning. He struck out a batter and surrendered two runs and a walk. 
Parker Edwards (0-0) faced two batters, but could not retire either of them. He allowed a run on a hit and a walk. 
Matt Bryant (0-0) gave up one hit and closed out the game on the mound for the Tigers.
 
Ouachita Hitting
 
Southern Nazarene's starting pitcher, Triston Graves, pitched a complete game for the Crimson Storm. He allowed just one run on four hits and four strikeouts.
 
Tyler Riebock scored the only run for the Tigers. As the opening batter in the game for Ouachita, he hit his third leadoff home run and eighth home run of the season.
 
Ouachita Highlights
 
	- Tyler Riebock hit his team-leading eighth home run of the season.
 
	- Louis Steen had the only other extra-base hit, a double down the left field line.
