OUACHITA FALLS IN THE BATTLE OF THE TIGERS

ADA, Oklahoma – The Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team wrapped up its weekend road trip to Oklahoma with a 3-0 loss to the East Central Tigers on Saturday.

Final game scores were 25-14, 25-19, and 25-19. Ouachita finished the match hitting .088 with 29 kills and 19 errors on 113 swings.

Offensively, Emily Low led the with eight kills and only one error for a .438 hitting percentage. Kayla Steinmeyer and EJ Day added seven kills each. Temi Fayiga and Kellen Church led the team in assists with 13 and 11, respectively. Lexie Castillow led the back row defense with 16 digs, followed by Church with 11 and Fayiga with 10.

Ouachita stays home next weekend for a Friday-Saturday showcase with Oklahoma Baptist and Southern Nazarene.
