ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University volleyball team won a thrilling second set 30-28, but Southern Nazarene responded with a pair of lop-sided victories to take the match in four sets on Saturday at the Sturgis Center.
The Crimson Storm (8-12, 3-8 GAC) opened the match winning 25-17 before the Tigers (7-17, 2-9 GAC) evened it up in the second, needing five extra points to do so.  SNU powered back with convincing wins in the third and fourth sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-11, respectively.
Emily Low led the Tigers with 14 kills and a .345 hitting percentage. Kayla Steinmeyer also reached double-digits in the kills category with 11. Kellen Church and Joni Schneider reached double-digits in assists with 20 and 13, respectively. It was Church's ninth match of the year with at least 10 assists. For Schneider, it was a season-high. Lexie Castillow paced the back row with 20 digs, her 10th 20+ dig performance of the year.
Up next is a trip to Monticello next Thursday, October 28. First serve against UAM is set for 6 p.m.
