EDMOND, Oklahoma – After day one of three at the Oklahoma Christian Invitational, the Ouachita Baptist University women's swimming and diving team is in second place, and the men's team is in third.
"The team looked crisp today against very good competition," said Ouachita Head Coach Steven Bostick. "I'm most proud of how seriously the men and women took the relays. With so many events packed in such as short time, I couldn't be happier with the start of the meet."
Top finishes in the finals of day one included:
- Kaitlyn Montgomery first place in the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.58)
- Elise Henderson second place in the 200-yard individual medley (2:11.61)
- Women's team second place in 200-yard freestyle relay (1:37.93)
- Women's team second place in the 400-yard medley relay (4:01.89).
- Jeff McCoy third place in the 500-yard freestyle (4:37.83)
