Ouachita Baptist men's tennis picked up its first win of the season Saturday with a 7-0 victory over Texas A&M-Texarkana. Five of the six singles matches were straight-set victories for the host Tigers. Saturday's match was the first one this season in which Ouachita was able to field a full team.
"It was great to have everybody back from quarantine," head coach
Craig Ward said. "Texarkana continues to improve and we had to play very focused to win most of these matches. I was very pleased with the way our fitness training paid off. The guys are working very hard and I think todays result was a reflection of that work."
