Kendarious Smith led the Tigers with 18 points in the victory.Â
The Muleriders, who won the first three matchups of the season between the two teams, jumped out to an 8-0 lead to start the game. The Tigers battled back and took the lead for good with 7:06 left in the first half on a
Kobe Dunlap three-pointer.Â
Southern Arkansas would force a tie just over five minutes into the second, but Ouachita regained the lead 15 seconds later on a jumper by
Leon Kalinic. The Tigers made 16 of 34 field goal attempts in the second period to keep their distance and hold on for the 14-point victory.
Kalinic finished one rebound shy of a double-double, putting up 10 points and hauling in a team-high nine boards.
