Ouachita Baptist volleyball dropped the first set in Tuesday night's Battle of the Ravine, but the Tigers stormed back to take the next three sets and defeat Henderson State 3-1 at Sturgis Physical Education Center. Freshman
EJ Day led the Tigers with 14 kills on the night.
Henderson came out guns blazing to start the match, winning the first set 25-11. After the Tigers took a 10-3 lead in the second, the Reddies used a 9-1 run to take the lead at 12-11. Ouachita fought back to win the second set 25-23 and outscored the visitors 50-39 over the last two sets.Â
