Tiger softball held a 3-2 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh inning Friday at Central Oklahoma, but the Bronchos scores two runs with two outs for the walkoff win.
Nikki Schneider pitched 6.2 innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits with two strikeouts.
After Central Oklahoma took the lead in the first inning with a two-run homer,
Jillian Jones answered with a solo shot of her own in the second. The Tigers gained the lead two innings later, as
Kendyl Dockter plated
Madison Miller with a single, and
Tori Herbert drove in
Lauren Lester with a single of her own.
A two-out RBI single knotted the score in the bottom of the seventh for UCO, and a bases-loaded error allowed the winning run to score.
