The Ouachita Baptist men's soccer team ran its record to 3-0 with a 1-0 win over Ozarks at AllCare Field at Arkadelphia High School on Sunday.
Ryan Wilson scored his first goal of the year in the win, as
Matt Day made four saves for the shutout.
Wilson found the back of the net just under seven minutes into the game, taking a cross from
David Stankovic and burying it in the upper left corner.
Day made sure that goal would stand up, making two saves in the first half and two in the second for his second shutout of the year.
MATCH NOTES
- Day's two shutouts this year are the most by a Tiger goalkeeper since 2018
- The Tigers are 3-0 for the first time since 2016
- Stankovic's assist was his second of the season
- Ouachita has outscored its opponents 5-1 on the year
