Ouachita Baptist softball defeated the No. 1 team in the country Saturday, defeating Southern Arkansas 2-1 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Nikki Schneider earned the win, allowing one run on four hits in 7.0 innings.

Schneider settled in after that, allowing just one hit over the final four innings. She finished the game with two strikeouts and two walks allowed, improving her record to 1-1 overall.Â
