Ouachita Baptist lost the first game of a series-opening doubleheader Friday at Southwestern Oklahoma State by a score of 7-2.

Pierce Mitchum drove in the Tigers' two runs in the game.
The Bulldogs built and early lead with two runs in the second inning and three in the third. A sac fly by Free plated the first Ouachita run in the fourth. SWOSUÂ got a run back in the sixth. The Tigers added another run in the eighth on Mitchum's sac fly, but the Bulldogs added a tally of their own in the bottom of the frame.
Hunter Gautreaux took the loss for the Tigers, allowing six runs, four of which were earned, through 6.0 innings.
