Southwestern Oklahoma State opened this weekend's three-game series with a 5-0 win over Ouachita Baptist in the first game of a doubleheader at Sully Anderson Field on Friday. The Tigers managed six scattered hits at the plate while committing five errors defensively.
The Bulldogs picked up a pair of runs in the second, one in the third, and two more in the fourth to provide all the scoring in the game. SWOSU played an error-free game defensively, as the Tigers did not advance a runner past second base in the game.
