Ouachita Baptist baseball fell 7-3 to Northwestern Oklahoma State on Friday in the first game of a doubleheader. The Tigers pickedĀ up just four hits offensively in the game.
Northwestern took the lead with a run in the fourth and extended it with three more in the fourth.

Cade McBride singled home another to close the gap to 4-2 in the bottom of the inning.Ā
After the Rangers added three more in the top of the sixth, the Tigers struggled to put runners on base over the next three innings.
Cole Kelly drove in a run with a ninth-inning sacrifice fly, but the rally fizzled before the Tigers could tie the game.
Luke Scaggs took the loss on the mound, throwing 6.0 innings and allowing seven runs, six of which were earned, falling to 1-5.
