Ouachita Baptist women's tennis battled at Henderson State but fell 4-3 Friday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center. Austynn Crocker, Clarisa Valenzuela and Olivia Gaston picked up singles wins for the Tigers.

The Reddies claimed the doubles point with wins on Courts 1 and 2. Valenzuela and Gaston picked up a 6-3 win on Court 3. 

In singles, Crocker picked up a swift straight-sets victory over Tori Johnson on Court 4 by a score of 6-1, 6-1. On Court 5, Valenzuela defeated Erica Jaggernauth 6-4, 2-6, 10-5. Gaston beat Katie Watts 6-3, 6-4 on Court 6. 

Valenzuela's win was her third singles victory in a row. The Tigers are back in action April 9 against Henderson State at Ward Tennis Center.
