Ouachita Baptist volleyball dropped its final regular season match Tuesday night at Henderson State by a score of 3-1. The first three sets were close but Henderson finished strong in a 25-17 fourth-set victory.
After dropping the first set, the Tigers fought back for a 28-26 second-set victory. Ouachita jumped out to a 9-4 lead early and extended that to a 16-8 advantage before the Reddies made their run. Henderson State tied the set a 22 apiece, but Ouachita used back-to-back kills by
Rileigh Fielder and
EJ Day to seal the deal.
The two teams battled in a 28-26 third set that saw the Reddies emerge victorious. Henderson then cruised to a 25-18 win in the fourth and final set.
