THE RUNDOWN
Ouachita Baptist softball fell behind 5-0 and never recovered in Thursday's series opener at Arkansas Tech, falling 5-1. 
Sloane Precure's solo home run provided Ouachita's lone tally on the night.
The Golden Suns scored twice in the second inning and three times in the third to build a five-run lead. With one out in the sixth, Precure sent the first pitch she saw over the center field fence to put her team on the board.
Madison Miller took the loss for the Tigers, allowing five runs on seven hits in 3.0 innings. 
Nicole Arreola kept Ouachita in the game with three innings of scoreless relief.
