THE RUNDOWN
Ouachita Baptist softball kept it tight with first-place Southeastern Oklahoma State in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday, but the Savage Storm prevailed 4-1 in Durant, Oklahoma. The home team scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to break a 1-1 tie.
After Southeastern scored a run in the top of the first, the Tigers tied the game in the second.
Kirsten Shaw singled down the right field line on a 2-2 pitch with one out to drive in
Callie Jourdan with the tying run.Â
Nicole Arreola held the Savage Storm off the scoreboard until the bottom of the sixth, when Southeastern took the lead with a three-run rally.Â
