THE RUNDOWN

Luke Scaggs and scored the game's only run in the bottom of the ninth.Â
The Tigers had no answers for SNU's Payne Maga, who threw 9.0 innings of scoreless baseball, limiting the Tigers to two hits while walking two batters and hitting two with six strikeouts. Ouachita did not put a runner on base until the fifth inning and did not collect a base hit until the sixth.Â
The visitors' best chance to score came in the seventh inning.
Cade Burris led off the inning with a double.
Jaxon Chaney was hit by a pitch with one out.Â
Zach Kuykendall's two-out walk loaded the bases, but
Pierce Mitchum flied out to center to end the Tiger threat.Â
Scaggs pitched into the eighth, but a leadoff single and subsequent sacrifice but ended his day with 12 strikeout and no walks with six hits allowed.
Ben Miller relieved Scaggs, holding the Crimson Storm off the scoreboard in the eighth before allowing a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth.
