MEN'S SOCCER DROPS ROAD GAME TO FORT HAYS

HAYS, Kansas – The Ouachita Baptist University men's soccer continued its long road stretch on Thursday with a 7-1 loss to Fort Hays State.

The Tigers (0-6, 0-3 MIAA/GAC) were outshot 31-10 overall, and 15-6 in shots on goal. FHSU (5-2-1, 2-0 MIAA/GAC) scored two goals in the first half and five in the second half.

Ouachita's goal came in the 67th minute by Joseph Lattier, assisted by Bobby Boone and Brandon Avlia.

Up next for Ouachita is the final match of its current eight-game road stretch. The Tigers face Newman on Saturday in Wichita, Kansas for a noon kickoff.
