HUNTSVILLE, Alabama – The Ouachita Volleyball team continued its weekend tournament in Alabama with a 3-1 loss to the host, Alabama-Huntsville, this past Friday.
Senior
Lexie Castillow led the Tigers defense with 36 digs, her first 30+ dig match of the season. She also added in eight assists in the loss.
Karli Ferguson turned in a big match from the net with a final total of three block solos and six block assists. She also added seven kills with only one error for a .353 hitting percentage.
Also on offense, three Tigers (0-2) reached double-digits in kills.
EJ Day had 10 kills and also added one block solo and one block assist to lead OBU with 12.5 total points. Riliegh Fielder and
Emily Low also had 10 kills in the loss.
Temi Fayiga aided the Tiger offense with 20 assists.
The Chargers (1-0) also had three players reach double digits offensively with Paris Morris leading the way with 17 kills and a .382 percentage.
