NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The Ouachita Baptist University women's swimming and diving team put the finishing touches on a perfect week with a 170-87 road win over Loyola-New Orleans.
"The team swam pretty good considering the long bus ride on Friday," said Ouachita Head Coach
Steven Bostick. "Loyola was a great host and with the pool being on the fifth floor of the building it was an exciting venue… We've got to do better on some of the details and figure out how to swim fast even after a tough week of practice. All in all, we're excited to be 2-0 and pick up the road wins. We're hoping for a big crowd next week for homecoming against top ten opponent Oklahoma Christian."
The Tigersharks earned wins in 10 of 14 events, highlighted by a streak of seven straight wins in the middle events and three events with Ouachita representing the top three finishers.
