ADA, Oklahoma – The Ouachita Baptist University women's soccer team wrapped up the 2022 regular season on Thursday with a 1-0 road win over East Central.
With the win, Ouachita improves to 9-4-5 overall and 6-1-5 in Great American Conference games. The Tigers will end the day with at least a share of first place in the league. The other first-place team, Southwestern Oklahoma State hosted Southern Nazarene on Thursday, and will play again on Saturday on the road against Oklahoma Baptist.
Ouachita ended the regular season on a streak of 10 consecutive games without a loss, going 5-0-5 down the stretch.

Fernanda Valencia scored the only goal in the 32nd minute, her fourth of the season.
The Tigers ended the game with a 16-7 advantage in total shots and a 5-2 lead in shots on goal.
Michele Snow went the distance in goal for the Tigers, collecting her sixth shutout of the year and 16th of her career. She had two saves in Tuesday's win.
The Tigers will be participating in the GAC Championship Tournament November 3-5. The league's regular season championship will host the event.
