ARKADELPHIA – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team earned a 28-16 senior night victory over Carl Albert State College on Wednesday at home.
The seniors that were honored prior to the duals included
Noah Yeamans,
Alex Thyes,
Johnny Green,
Chandler Cooley, and
Marcel Molu. Student assistant coach
Keelan Stanley and graduate assistant coach
Jessie Hodge were also recognized.
Noah Yeamans started the night off with a decisive win in the 125 dual to set the tone. However, CASC came back to win three in a row to take the lead. The Tigers closed out the dual winning five of the final six matches to earn the overall win, highlighted by the biggest point-getter of the night for Ouachita, a six-point win for
Cole Eason in the 174 dual on win by fall in 3:17.
