ST. CHARLES, Missouri – The Ouachita Baptist University wrestling team finished in sixth place at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Tournament on Saturday, hosted by Lindenwood University.

The Tigers (4-8) started the day with a 28-15 loss to Maryville in the opening round, bounced back with a 37-12 win over William Jewell, and then finished with a 29-15 loss to Drury in the third round.

Jackson Carter led the Tigers with a 3-0 day. Brooks Schrimsher and Noah Yeamans each went 2-1.
