DURANT, Oklahoma – The Ouachita Baptist University men's basketball team wrapped up its final Oklahoma road trip of the season with a 72-56 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday.
Ouachita had a chance to take the lead down one with 5:43 remaining in the second half, but Southeastern rallied to outscored the Tigers 17-2 the rest of the way for the lopsided win.
For the game, the Tigers shot 33 percent from the field (23-for-70), 35 percent on three-pointers (8-for-23) and 50 percent on foul shots (2-for-4).
Southeastern finished at 43 percent from the field (26-for-60), 30 percent on three-pointers (10-for-33), and 71 percent on foul shots (10-for-14).
The Tigers were led by three scorers in double-digits. Tylar Haynes led the way with 12 points. Alex Scariolo added 11 points and a season-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. Jacob Street finished with 10 points.
The Tigers close are back in action this week at home against East Central on Tuesday in a make-up game, and then for the last home game of the year on Thursday against Southern Arkansas.
