EMPORIA, Kansas – The 17th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team bounced back from its loss on Saturday to sweep through Emporia State on Sunday by a final score of 4-0.
Like Saturday's match against Washburn, Sunday's match against Emporia State was also played with NCAA championship scoring, ending as soon as the Tigers secured their fourth point.
The Tigers (4-1, 2-1 MIAA/GAC) made quick work of the Hornets (3-1, 1-1 MIAA/GAC), winning the first two doubles matches and then winning three straight in singles to come away with a winning weekend to start conference play.
