CONWAY, Arkansas – The Ouachita Baptist University women's tennis team opened the spring schedule on Saturday with a decisive 8-1 road win over Hendrix.
The match was played by NCAA Division III rules with points awarded in all three doubles matchups.
Makeilah Turner came through with a strong finish in a two-hour battle in first position for singles, while
Carla Gallart picked up her first singles win as a Tiger.
Austynn Crocker was the first to win in singles, while
Olivia Gaston,
Ali May, and
Keelan Williams followed. May's win in fourth position clinched the match for the Tigers.
