SPRINGFIELD, Missouri – The 17th-ranked Ouachita Baptist University men's tennis team wrapped up its final road trip north of the Mason-Dixon Line on Monday with a 5-2 win over Drury.
The Tigers swept through doubles and then earned singles wins in first, second, fifth, and sixth positions to move to 7-1 overall this season. Drury drops to 4-4.
"After such a hard-fought win yesterday, I was concerned about our focus for this match," said Ouachita Head Coach Craig Ward. "But our guys came out strong in doubles and carried that momentum into singles. Drury always has a good team. They are disciplined and well-coached."
