ARKADELPHIA – Senior Makeilah Turner delivered an exciting tie-breaker victory in singles play to help the Ouachita Baptist University women's tennis team secure a 7-0 victory over Texas A&M-Texarkana on Saturday.
Turner was honored prior to the match as Ouachita's lone senior for the 2021-22 season. She then delivered a singles win in second position after saving match point for an 11-9 tie-breaker victory. She won the first set 6-3, and then fell in the second 6-1.

The Tigers close the regular season on Tuesday across the street against Henderson State in a makeup match originally scheduled for this past Friday. First serve is set for 2 p.m. at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
