ARKADELPHIA – Ouachita Baptist University women's basketball coach Robert Dallimore has announced the addition of Joey Babel to the 2022-23 roster.

Richardson, a 5-4 guard, comes to Ouachita from Beebe High School in Arkansas, where she was a two-time all-conference honoree and was selected to the all-state tournament team. This past season, she averaged 11 points, four steals, three rebounds, and three assists per game.

"Joey is the type of student-athlete that devotes all she has into everything that she does," said Beebe Head Coach Greg Richey. "She was such a pleasure to coach because I always knew that she would give everything she had to help her team succeed."

"Joey is an extremely quick and strong guard who can pressure the ball defensively and push the ball in transition," said Dallimore. "She is tough, a competitor, and all about the team. I can't wait until school starts to get Joey on campus."
