RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – The Great American Conference will conduct a virtual media day on Wednesday, August 17 in anticipation of the start of the 2022 volleyball season.
The event will stream live at

www.YouTube.com/GACAthletics starting at 9 a.m. Each school will be featured for 15 minutes with the head coach and a key returning student-athlete. Fans wishing to participate are encouraged to post questions on Twitter using the hashtag #theGACVBMD. Lexie Castillow will preview the Tigers' season during the 1 p.m. slot.
Castillow is coming back for her fifth year of collegiate volleyball, which is her fourth at Ouachita. She graduated this past May with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and is pursuing a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. The three-time All-GAC performer ranked third in the league last year in digs with an average of 5.27 per set. The Greenwood, Arkansas native ranks fifth all-time at Ouachita with 1,450 digs, just three spots behind her coach. Frizzell-Kizer ranks second after racking up 2,226 digs from 2009-12.
